Remember the feeling that you had when you first started your business? Maybe a mix of excitement, fear, and "I-can-do anything!" Can you remember how much you loved the idea of working for yourself and designing a life that you were passionate about?
Then it happened.
Pretty soon you were just trying to keep your head above water. Success is great! But unfortunately, no matter how successful you get, you don't magically get more hours in the day to do all of the things you need to keep your business moving forward.
That's why I started my business. Because I saw too many entrepreneurs who were bogged down by work that didn't feel purposeful to them anymore. I wanted to use my talents and gifts in management & administration to help other entrepreneurs stay in love with their business.
So who am I?
I'm a wife, mom, and #boss from the great state of Texas who loves to help entrepreneurs reduce the chaos and get a little more (okay maybe a lot more) sanity in their life.
I started out my career almost 10 years ago in the Air Force as a Project Manager. Only God knows how a girl with a liberal arts degree became a tech-y PM, but I soon realized that I was made for this! (It's funny how that happens.)
My creative, problem-solving nature, tech savvy, and "get-it-done" personality helped me to excel in the world of project management.
Military PM work was a thrilling, sometimes dull, purposeful and challenging adventure! Even so, I knew that I wanted to build a life that would allow me to be the wife, mom, and business owner that I always wanted to be, so I took a chance and said "good-bye" to the uniform.
When I took my first step (more like leap) into entrepreneurship I quickly realized that there was no shortage of passion and creativity from my fellow entrepreneurs, but they seemed to be overworked and constantly at the edge of burnout.
That's no way to live, and I doubt that's the dream you had for yourself when you first started your company.
So, I decided almost 2 years ago that I would use my PM experience and credentials to help business owners like you find practical ways to implement great project management practices in order to run their business more efficiently, and have fun while doing it.
Since then, I've worked with a number of business owners in the retail, restaurant, consulting, and tech development industries. I love partnering with my clients by providing exceptional management & admin support, but I also wanted to help more people, so I created this blog just for you!
My greatest hope for this, is that it becomes a great resource to you as you grow and scale your successful business so that every day you get to wake up and do work you love!
